Our mobile apps are written in native Swift and Kotlin, while our Artificial Intelligent Coach is written in Python. The API interactions between clients and backend happen with carefully crafted Microservices written in Ruby. Our backend services are running on AWS, using Kubernetes and Docker.
We are looking for talented Backend Developer – Working Student to join us in our journey to help everyone become the best version of themselves. You will apply your university learnings to practical usage, and experience what it is like to work in real industry. Also, you will be involved actively from the planning of features, to delivering and deploying it on production.

Your responsibilities

  • You will be working in a cross-functional crew which consists of Backend, Android, iOS developer along with product designer and product manager
  • You will be part of the scrum process from sprint planning, review, and retrospective
  • You will be implementing features/tasks related to the sprint
  • You will work closely with with a Senior Backend developer in your crew

Your profile

  • Knowledge of software engineering principles, design, and best practices
  • Basic experience in Ruby is a plus, but we welcome students from any other programming languages as well
  • Strong desire to learn
  • Be diligent and have integrity
  • Good communication skills
  • Good spoken and written English skills
  • Be available 10-20 hours per week
