The Marketing department of IRONMAN is tasked with generating and converting demand for IRONMAN’s portfolio of endurance events, affiliated brands and products, creating value for customers, and profitable growth strategies for the business.
Positioned within the Global Team, the Brand Coordinator is responsible for creating, communicating and enforcing processes and guidelines to ensure IRONMAN’s portfolio of brands are effectively created, curated and applied throughout the business. This includes working with licensees and third parties to ensure global support and consistency.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Marketing Programs, Brands and Customer Experience, the post holder will be an innovative and results-driven individual who will collaborate with numerous stakeholders, internationally.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Operations, Global Partnerships, Merchandise and Licensing departments.
  • Foster strong relationships with licensees
  • Collaborate with graphic design department to develop, evolve and implement new brand designs and associated touchpoints
  • Work with stakeholders to implement brand touchpoints into the customer experience Adapt Series/ Brand product offerings or messages so that they resonate with customers in specific locales
  • Act as brand advocate and guardian to ensure correct and appropriate brand usage and instigate corrections as necessary
  • Facilitate licensee marketing requests and support in order to ensure brand consistency across owned and licensed events, including:
  • Maintaining a library of assets and support tools
  • Providing feedback and suggestions on marketing campaigns
  • Coordinating with other team members to implement actions on licensee’s behalf
  • Build strong relationships so constructive feedback and enforcement can be well received
  • Use and request research and analysis to inform decisions
  • Contribute towards a global marketing calendar by brand
·         Clearly articulate and report on status of marketing campaigns and brand market position using data and analytics to substantiate.
  • Develop a keen understanding of regional and local markets, using firsthand observation, quantitative and qualitative data about the industry, consumers, places and categories.
  • Seek opportunities for brand marketing, lead generation and athlete development in collaboration with the broader marketing team.
  • Support Global Marketing team on broader Campaign, Programs, Brands and Licensee aspects as required
Processes
  • Maintain and articulate brand guidelines and brand reference documents
  • Maintain sufficient notes and documentation to enable historical information recording and sharing
Collect and maintain a catalogue of Marketing best practices that may be referenced by the IRONMAN Marketing Team
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1 – 5 years marketing experience
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to advocate for change in any environment among peers, managers, executives, and outside partners
  • Possess a goal-oriented approach, with the desire and capability to track activities to business metrics and an overall plan
  • A passion for an active lifestyle is a plus
  • Ability to work some weekends and non-traditional hours
