WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
SweatWorks is hiring a Front-end Developer. You will be part of a full-stack creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development, from the initial specification through to developing, testing and launching.
WHAT WE REQUIRE
Proven experience in previous projects using the BEM methodology, Pixel-Perfect, Mobile-First and Component-Based developmentExperience using CSS pre-processors such as LESS or SASS.
Experience in cross-browsing and cross-device development.
Is comfortable using build and package management solutions such as Gulp, Grunt, WebPack, and npm.
Is proficient in using Git code repositories, and understands processes and practices for branching, pull requests, merging, etc.
Understands RESTful API best practices and managing asynchronous data.
Is comfortable working with remote team members, and collaborating with English-speaking team members.
Is familiar with Photoshop and/or Sketch to review designs and export assets, etc.
Experience with agile methodology and working within Jira or similar software task management solutions.
Understands server-side scripting (Node.js, PHP, .Net, Java, Python, etc.).
Has a passion for front end development, and keeps up with the latest updates, releases, and trends across the field. Enjoys being part of the web development community.
Bonus if you have any hands-on experience writing server-side code or working with databases.
Bonus if you have experience with BDD, unit tests, integration tests and E2E tests.
