We are looking to hire Sales Associates to join the SoulCycle family in New York, Connecticut, Boston, DC, and California! As a Sales Associate, you will dual partner and collaborate with the Assistant Studio Manager and Senior Allocator to drive sales and create a consistent and high-quality in-store experience, and build our brand one customer at a time. We are seeking passionate, service-oriented, positive and hard-working individuals with a love for health and fitness and an excitement for our brand. We are a high-growth company looking for hyper-organized, efficient, forward-thinking problem-solvers with exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail.


  • Support a best in class level of rider/customer service through extensive product knowledge, strong selling skills, and authentic clienteling
  • Identify and drive strategy to attract riders and potential customers outside of the SoulCycle community
  • Consistently meet individual and departmental sales goals as established by management
  • Take ownership for the customer experience in your studio by providing customized and personal relationships with each rider/customer
  • Demonstrate strong styling skills and maintain a keen interest in activewear, fashion and market trends
  • Assist with floor sets, window changes and other merchandising expectations where necessary
  • Consistently ambassador the core values of SoulCycle
  • Contribute to a positive, fun, professional, productive, and team-oriented studio atmosphere
  • Ability to lift at least 30lbs, carry, push, pull, squat, kneel, twist, turn, climb, crawl, reach, and bend


  • At least 1-year experience in a high volume, sales, customer-driven retail environment preferred
  • Must be able to commit to and work a flexible schedule to work a non-traditional schedule: Weekends, Holidays, some early AM/Midday/PM Weekdays
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment
  • Possess excellent communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of personalities
  • Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Superior organizational skills.

First and foremost, I want to thank you for either placing your blind faith in us by being a FitList customer, willing to try us out as a beta client, or using the platform to find a job.

Until today I have been trying to get two fitness sites off the ground - our job board and - an event discovery site and the only site of its kind to list all relevant fitness and endurance events in one place (please check it out!). 

I am not Elon Musk or Jack Dorsey (not yet anyway). I lack the bandwidth or capital to get two sites from zero to scale at the same time. While the traffic is admittedly flat for everything is pointing up and to the right at A founder never has a clear answer when to shut an endeavor down but I believe the time is right to focus everything on the one that is kicking ass and I have made the decision to stop operating FitList. 

It's not just about dollars and cents for me. If that were the case I probably should have looked outside of fitness to build something.  As I was passionate about both fitness events and helping people find awesome jobs in the fitness and endurance space in both cases I built the platforms to scratch my own itch. 

I am confident I am building something unique on the event side. However, if I were to find a job in the fitness space now, I would point people to the team at Talent Hack. They are truly committed to the cause of connecting the fitness community with opportunities and talent.  Through them, I just found a great opportunity that I'm excited about.  They have been carefully and strategically growing their platform since 2015.
