We’re looking for someone who has the passion for enhancing and scaling this mentality to help grow our business.  As a Senior Data Analyst on the Data Growth team, you will need to be fluent in all parts of the data ecosystem and their impacts, as well as understand the complexity of the business from both a product and marketing perspective.  Our ultimate goal in the Data Growth team is to ensure Freeletics becomes a leader in data-driven decision making while growing our business at the same time. You will be at the heart of this process.

Your responsibilities

  • Deliver actionable insights based on quantitative analyses to support data-driven decisions across all teams
  • Develop statistical models to describe and predict complex user behaviour and profitability
  • Identify business opportunities and trends through exploratory analyses
  • Design, build, and maintain tools that improve business performance both internally through automation and externally by impacting the product
  • Design, build, and maintain reliable data sets and impactful reporting capabilities
  • Be a domain expert in all things data: data infrastructure, data science, data analysis, testing, and tracking
  • Inspire and teach others about the power of data and be an advocate for data usage
  • Manage and deliver your own projects

Your profile

  • Master’s degree (university) in mathematics, physics, computer science, economics, or any other relevant studies that are strongly quantitative and problem-solving oriented
  • 3+ years professional experience as data analyst within technology space, knowledge of online marketing and digital product funnels preferred
  • Complete fluency in mathematical problem-solving methods, Excel, and SQL, experience with Python/R, machine learning, and BigQuery preferred
  • Strong high-dimensional problem solving abilities and self-driven work ethic
  • Fast learner with excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Innovative thinking mindset and willingness to gets hands dirty across all areas of the business, must have “can do” attitude
