At Freeletics, marketing insights are crucial to our success.  We’re looking for someone who not only has the passion for delivering these insights across all our marketing channels, but the demonstrated experience of providing marketing value through marketing data.  As a Senior Marketing Analyst on the Data Growth team, you will need to be fluent in all parts of the marketing data ecosystem and their impacts, as well as work closely with marketing managers to help architect marketing strategies.  Our ultimate goal in the Data Growth team is to ensure Freeletics becomes a leader in data-driven decision making while growing our business at the same time. Marketing analysis is fundamental to this mission, and you will be leading that process.

Your responsibilities

  • Deliver actionable insights based on quantitative analyses to support data-driven decisions across all marketing teams.
  • Develop statistical models to describe and predict complex user behaviour and profitability.
  • Identify marketing opportunities and trends through exploratory analyses.
  • Design, build, and maintain tools that improve business performance both internally through automation and externally by impacting the marketing techniques within the team.
  • Design, build, and maintain reliable data sets and impactful reporting capabilities.
  • Be a domain expert in all things marketing related: infrastructure, marketing analysis, testing, tracking, attribution, and dependencies among different online marketing channels.
  • Inspire and teach others about the power of data and be an advocate for data usage.
  • Manage and deliver your own projects.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree (university) in mathematics, physics, computer science, economics, or any other relevant studies that are strongly quantitative and problem-solving oriented.
  • 4+ years professional experience as marketing analyst within technology space, knowledge of online marketing and digital product funnels is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience in managing performance marketing campaigns (paid social or paid search especially) is a strong plus.
  • Complete fluency in mathematical problem-solving methods, Excel, and SQL, experience with Python/R is preferred.
  • Strong high-dimensional problem solving abilities and self-driven work ethic.
  • Fast learner with excellent analytical and communication skills and strong “can do” attitude.
  • Innovative thinking mindset and willingness to gets hands dirty across all areas of the business.
