As a Senior Social Media Manager at Freeletics, you help us spread this message and engage with our digital community while reaching people who have not heard of us yet. You will work closely with the brand marketing team, creative team and the UA/ UR team to raise the Freeletics social media channels (especially Youtube) to best in class standards.

Your responsibilities

  • Support the development of a mid-long term brand awareness channel strategy (YouTube) incl. felxible budeting plan.
  • Manage paid YouTube (and other awareness channel) campaigns on day to day basis.
  • Manage external media agencies for succesful implementation of campaigns.
  • Drive the set up of efficient tracking processes and further make brand awareness measurable.
  • Real-time optimisation of campaigns based on real time analytics to increase brand awareness.
  • Support the organic growth goals by supporting the creation of effective content.
  • Be a consultant to the Head of Brand Marketing for Brand Awareness related channel executions, budget planning and strategy planning.
  • Increase FL brand awarness, recognition and purchase intent by implementing engaging, educating, interactive and informative thought leadership content awareness channels.
  • Drive effective YT campaigns by optimising campaigns according to KPIs.
  • Support the development of brand awareness & authority KPIs and transform overall brand marketing KPIs into Social Media KPIs.
  • Be the expert for YouTube and new brand awareness channels.
  • Drive cross functional collaboration especially with the brand communication team to ensure holistic execution of brand awareness campaigns.

Your profile

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position, ideally within the digital fitness industry.
  • Strong skills on how to execute brand awareness campaigns on paid social media channels (YouTube).
  • Ability to execute, lead, manage and optimize paid YouTube campaigns independently.
  • Strong skills in leading, guiding and managing media agencies for paid campaigns.
  • Ability to analyze and report on success of social media campaigns and integrate learnings into new campaigns.
  • Strong understanding on creative content needs and factors for paid social media campaigns.
  • Good understanding on how to optimize media spent according to success key metrics.
  • Proven skills of how to scale brand awareness in new markets on paid awareness channels.
  • Strong understanding of technical set-up of YouTube and other awareness channels.
  • Experience in executing campaigns on brand awareness channels and strengthen thought leadership.
  • Experience in creating long-term YouTube and media strategy for organic growth.
  • Experience in planning and executing on 7-digit budgets.
  • Strong understanding of Brand Awareness KPI’s and successful track record in implementing them.
  • Ability to provide insights and advice to superiors and peers on own channel expertise and campaigns.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills – other languages are a plus.
