Studio Assistant position is primarily responsible for assisting the Studio Manager with administrative and studio maintenance duties. This position requires you to be the face of CorePower Yoga: greeting new customers, assisting students with membership or account issues, and with clear & reliable communication.





Customer Service


– Provide courteous and efficient service in your ability to determine what a customer wants or needs politely and quickly


– Understand and efficiently navigate MBO to sign students in, enter packages and memberships, complete accounting books, and explore and correct problems with student accounts


– Answer the phone, listen and respond to voicemail, respond to notes left by teachers at front desk or in the Communication Binder


– Understand how to operate POS systems (receive cash, checks, debit, charge payments, utilize account credit and gift certificates), bag purchases, and give change and receipts


– Be willing to go above & beyond, be willing to go outside of your scope of duties to help a customer


– Leave the door open when in the studio for walk-in traffic, customer access, retail sales


Studio Maintenance & Operation


– Ensure the physical lobby environment meets the CorePower Yoga standards of excellence: which includes clean, clutter free surroundings and a tidy work area


– Order supplies for the studio and maintain current marketing collateral: re-stock flyers, remove old and outdated materials


– Contact the appropriate companies for required maintenance within the studio


– Maintain open and clear communication with the Studio Manager


– Manage the risk associated with operating a local business. Be mindful of activities and operations of the business, and seek ways to minimize harm to clients, employees, and company assets


– Comply with all Company policies and procedures


– Complete special projects as required


Manager Support


– Support in program enrollment


– Support SET teammates


– Support managers in instructor evaluation


– Provide feedback to instructors to support their growth


– Support managers with studio financials


– Support the success of the studio: evaluate class schedule/numbers, plan special classes/workshops





– Required demonstrated customer service skills, leadership ability, an aptitude for organization and an ability to prioritize job duties


– Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills


– High School diploma required


– College degree and business management experience is preferred


– Must have a passion for the yogi lifestyle


– Occasionally performs manual cleaning work to support the studio experience


– Occasionally moves and lifts up to 25 lbs


– Frequently communicates with students and employees about job related responsibilities


– Must be able to remain in a stationary position to operate a computer 40% of the time to facilitate student check ins and inquiries


– Must be present at least 30 hours a week
